Dinesh is an experienced leader and facilitator in the education and training industry. A curious lifelong learner, he has completed several AI for Education courses over the past few years. Dinesh has almost 25 years of experience, designing and implementing adult-learning strategies across academic, vocational, government, corporate, and not-for-profit sectors. Career highlights include National Head of Learning at Generation Australia; Learning and Student Engagement Strategic Lead at CSIRO Data 61; and Manager of Curriculum and Student Experience at Western Sydney University. He has built capability frameworks to meet national and global demands and address critical skills shortages in the emerging tech sector.

Mohammed Sabsabi

Mohammed holds a range of qualifications in education, including a Master of International Education (by research from USyd), and has completed several AI in Education courses. He has worked in education design, delivery, and management in the corporate, higher-education, vocational, school, and community sectors for over three decades. Mohammed has been exploring the nexus between learning and technology since 1998, evidenced by his role in the Virtual Learning Enterprise project as part of a workshop he completed at the University of Technology—where his team won Best Operations Plan. His goal is to help you rapidly become an AI-for-Learning influencer in your workplace using ethical, responsible, and practical frameworks.

Matthew Esterman

Next Word Founder‒Governance and Compliance Specialist

Matt Esterman has over 20 years’ experience working in schools and beyond as a leading voice in the thoughtful adoption of technology. He is a trained History teacher with two master’s degrees, who has made significant contributions to professional learning in Australia and overseas. He has been recognised with several awards, most recently as a Commonwealth Bank Teaching Fellow (provided by Australian Schools Plus). Matt founded The Next Word, a consultancy that seeks to leverage AI and other technologies to help shape a better future, working with schools, universities, and organisations to increase AI awareness and capability.
He co-authored The Next Word: AI & Teachers with Dr Nick Jackson, which launched in 2024. A regular speaker and workshop facilitator across Australia and internationally, he’s been appointed Adjunct Fellow in the School of Education at Western Sydney University, serves as a casual academic at Macquarie University, and is a member of the HP Futures 2025: AI & Leadership Council.

Bill Synnot

Bill Synnot & Associates‒Change Management Specialist

Bill Synnot is one of Australia’s leading specialists in organisational change management, executive coaching, facilitation, team development, creative thinking, and organisational reviews. He has around 50 years’ experience in management and consulting—both in Australia and internationally—in the public, private, cooperative, professional, educational, and not-for-profit sectors. In addition to acting as a consultant/trainer, Bill’s experience stems from senior management roles as a change analyst. His approach is very practical and based on hands-on experience.

Kimberley Law

International Grammar School‒Digital Learning Specialist‒High School Teacher

Kimberley Law is a Digital Learning Specialist and high school teacher at the International Grammar School in Sydney, recognised for her ability to create engaging and interactive learning environments. With experience in international contexts, she’s also worked as a K–12 teacher at schools in Italy and France and served as an HP Education Ambassador for French- and English-speaking institutions in Europe and Africa. Passionate about the intersection of language teaching and natural language processing (NLP), she recently developed a GenAI Literacy course for Stage 5 students, aligned with NESA curriculum outcomes. This course helps students access and maximise AI’s potential with a focus on English grammar. Her innovative methods and student-focused philosophy highlight her belief in understanding each learner to create effective, meaningful education.

Trenna Beattie

Parramatta High School

High School Teacher‒AI Learning Innovator

Trenna has a Bachelor of Arts/Master’s degree in Teaching. As an early-career teacher, she’s passionate about integrating AI tools into her practice to enhance student engagement and outcomes. Trenna recently completed a Professional Certificate in Human-Centred AI with Rapid Ai4 Learning.

She produced a work-based capstone project focused on generative AI in the classroom and has implemented a range of teaching resources for Stage 5 learners with disabilities and EAL/D backgrounds, enhancing their grammatical and content-based understanding in English.
